Original features including beautiful timber panelling and ornamental fireplaces have been showcased alongside contemporary styling to create a truly special holiday home. Every bedroom has the advantage of a luxury en-suite bathroom or shower room. The modern kitchen with dining table is well equipped for all your catering needs. There is a courtyard with garden furniture leading to the private entrance to the accommodation, and ample parking is also provided. Athelhampton House has an on site cafe/restaurant which is open during the day to the visiting public, and there is a calendar of events including theatre productions which take place within the main house.

As well as being able to enjoy the outstanding gardens during your stay, The Cochrane Wing is also well located for trips to the Jurassic Coast including iconic Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. Just two minutes by car is the village of Puddletown with a well-stocked shop and pub; and nearby is the village of Tolpuddle with its famous Tolpuddle Martyrs Museum. The historic county town of Dorchester with its shops, restaurants, cinemas and museums, is just a short drive away, and the Isle of Purbeck with iconic Corfe Castle is just a pleasant drive away.
